Job Description:

The Team Member role at the Egyptian Theatre offers a fun and fast paced opportunity to work with a wonderful group of people. Our team members are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Below are the different roles of a team member and their duties which include but are not limited to the following:

Box Office / Concessions / Ticket Taker / Usher

● Greet guests with a positive attitude.
● Operate the POS system.
● Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and theatre policies.
● Answer phone calls and questions from guests professionally and consistent with the Egyptian Theatre’s philosophy and policies.
● Prepare food
● Properly operate all concessions equipment.
● Practice safety standards when operating equipment and using chemicals.
● Positive selling (upselling and suggestive selling).
● Direct patrons to the auditorium.
● Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, etc.
● Help guests find seats.
● Follow Management/Team Leader instructions
● Timely communicate any issues/incidents to the Managers
● Remain professional when encountering VIP guests.

Requirements

● Must be a team player.
● Must have reliable transportation.
● Hours include nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Must be able to carry up to 50lbs.
● Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $19.75 per hour
