EDUCATION
The documentaries you see in an IMAX theatre educate as effectively as they entertain. IMAX documentaries allow viewers to experience new worlds in larger-than-life scope and detail.
In IMAX, there is nothing more amazing than the world around us. From the deepest ocean trench all the way to outer space, they not only take you places you’ve never been, they also show you familiar places in a way you’ve never seen. Only through the immersive quality of The IMAX Experience® can your senses be so overwhelmed.
OUR EDUCATION OFFERING
Comprehensive supplemental materials for teachers are available for most titles, allowing the learning to continue beyond the theatre.
Please note: IMAX Documentaries are only available for our IMAX theatres: MetroLux 12 Theatres + IMAX @ Centerra in Loveland, CO and MetroLux Theatres @ San Clemente in San Clemente, CA.
For other theatres, we do offer non-IMAX documentaries, which are also available to view at our IMAX theatres.
For our IMAX Auditoriums, we do ask that you work with other classrooms and teachers at your school to maximize attendance due to the size of the auditorium. We are unable to offer IMAX Documentaries for under 75 guests.
